Bend, Oregon Midwifery & Doula Services:

* Personalized, Caring, Prenatal Care in the comfort of your own home. Visits can also be in my home if you choose. The visits will usually last at least 1 hour because we want to take the time to get to know you. During this time we will focus on Nutrition, listen to the baby's heartbeat, measure your belly, assess your vital signs, as well as provide education, support and answer any questions you may have. We want you to feel comfortable with us because we know how important this will be at the time of your birth!

Families are always welcome!

* Laboratory procedures that are needed or desired will also be performed in a comfortable home environment. We will refer you for an ultrasound if we feel that one is needed or if it is something you desire.

* Offering Homebirth from 37-42 weeks of pregnancy, with exceptions to the rule! We provide continuous monitoring of both the mother and baby throughout labor, delivery and postpartum. This will include listening to the baby's heart, monitoring vital signs, and providing physical and emotional support as needed. We welcome the family in helping to catch the baby. We generally stay about 3 hrs. after the birth offering support with bonding, breastfeeding and to ensure that you are both stable.

* We offer in-home Postpartum care and well-baby checks as needed in the first week, and then again at 3 and 6 weeks. We will come to assess your recovery, and the health of your newborn baby. We are available to you around the clock with Breastfeeding and emotional support.
